Principals Message
As we pass mid-year of this school year and with the beginning of the 3rd quarter this section of the school year generally is the most productive educational days. Students are now well aware of their teachers expectations and routines. Teachers are familiar with student learning styles and abilities. There are less interruptions in the schedule and generally it is to cold outside for students to spend long hours outside playing, therefore they are able to do more reading and homework. As a school it is our hope that you as parents will continue being an active part in your students education. Take a few minutes each day to ask how their day went, what new things they learned, and do they have anything that they need to show you. Spend a few minutes(20) each night reading to your child or listening to them read. Students who are finished with the 3rd grade should now be reading to learn, not still learning to read.
Our hope is that as we team up together, that we can provide a great learning environment for all students to achieve the goals that they have set in order to feel successful in their educational experience.
Thank you and Have a great day.
Mr. LeFevre
